Most of the wine kits we carry make about 23L of wine (just under 30 bottles), except some of the specialty dessert wine kits, which make half as much. We offer a great selection of wines, from generic 4 week kits, to 5 and 6 week country specific and 8 week vineyard specific kits. These numbers indicate how long it takes to make the wine, and most wines would then benefit from some ageing. The smaller the kit to start with, the sooner it can be finished and the sooner it can be consumed.
The wine kit manufacturers we offer are 2 of the largest in Canada:

What does in-store winemaking involve?
It's as simple as picking out a wine you would like to make, letting us prepare it for you to sprinkle the yeast (that makes it your wine, not ours), and coming back when the wine is ready to bottle. We do the steps in between, filter the wine, call you for an appointment, and provide guidance for you to use the filling and corking machines. In about 45 minutes, you take home about 30 of the 750ml bottles of wine.
